Vishwas Patil (born November 28, 1959, in Nerle, Kolhapur district) is an Indian author, historian, and member of the Indian Administrative Service in Maharashtra. Well known for his work Panipat (novel about Third Battle of Panipat). He has an M.A. in English Literature and a degree in Law.
